• Catheterization: Participants will showcase their ability to perform urethral catheterisation on both male and female patients, emphasising technique and patient comfort.
• Practical Standards of Care: Demonstrations will focus on adhering to established standards of care during emergency scenarios, ensuring safe and effective patient management.
• Aseptic Non-Touch Technique (ANTT): Participants will practice and demonstrate ANTT principles to maintain aseptic conditions during various medical procedures, highlighting the importance of infection control.
• Intravenous Cannulation: The course includes practical demonstrations of IV cannulation techniques, allowing participants to exhibit their skills in establishing venous access for fluid and medication administration.
• Wound Closure Techniques: Participants will demonstrate various wound closure methods, including suturing and adhesive strips, showcasing their ability to manage injuries effectively.
