Introduction to Class IV Commercial SCUBA Diving
This module focuses on the critical skills and knowledge needed to become an Air Chamber Attendant in diving operations. You will learn how to operate safely within a chamber environment, understand decompression, and administer first aid and oxygen during emergencies.
In this module, you’ll cover:
- Air Chamber Attendant (CHATT): Learn the role and responsibilities of an Air Chamber Attendant, ensuring safety during pressurized operations.
- Safe Use of Oxygen BIBS: Understand the proper use of Built-in Breathing Systems (BIBS) in air chambers to safely provide oxygen to divers.
- Diving Equipment (SCUBA): Get familiar with the KM07 diving equipment, specifically SCUBA, which is essential for commercial diving operations.
- Decompression Theory and Tables: Study how decompression works, why it’s critical, and how to use decompression tables for safe diving practices.
- Oxygen Administration for Commercial Divers: Learn how to safely administer oxygen in emergencies, a vital skill in the diving industry.
